The Individual

The role of a development furniture upholsterer includes prepping and upholstering motion and static furniture for the Wilcare Group and developing existing products.

Must be able to understand all safety related documents and worksite rules and practices, equipment operating instructions, documented safety management systems and health and safety requirements.

We are looking for an experienced individual who enjoys working in a fast paced environment who assembles the furniture and has an eye for design. You will be crafting entire upholstery frames from start to finish so must be comfortable working with various air tools.

Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities

- A keen eye for accuracy coupled with the ability to produce good quality work.
- Ability to upholster and make accurate templates for new models.
- Good understanding of modern & traditional upholstery methods.
- Contributing ideas for developing new product ideas.
- Ability to use your own initiative.
- Ensuring the highest quality control standards are maintained.
- Knowledge of machining for furniture frame production beneficial.
